James Pharoah died from wounds on 17th April, 1915 after having been brought back to the United Kingdom but as yet, there is no information, as to when and where he was wounded. The 2nd Middlesex battalion were part of 23 Brigade, 8th Division that had been in action dutring the Battle of Neuve Chapelle in March, 1915. |
